Foreverfamily, a 26 year old nonprofit that supports children with a mother and/or father in prison and supports them, their parents, caregivers and extended family member as they work to remain a family, has been selected as October’s community change agent as part of Sevananda’s “Be The Change” program. Throughout the month, shoppers can donate the change from their bill to Foreverfamily. Shop on Saturday, October 26th, as a percentage of all sales goes directly to Foreverfamily.

A Fulton County Superior Court Judge was among two local judges to take part in a recent policy discussion at the White House on the effects of parental incarceration on children.
The discussion included policy makers, researchers and judges like Fulton County Superior Court judge Kimberly Esmond Adams.
