With poignant introspection, Lucretia Doyle tells her story of overcoming the odds and the role Foreverfamily has played. Board member Doyle is responsible for Program Development at Foreverfamily, with an emphasis on summer camp.
Since the article’s publication, Ms. Doyle has made several strides. On December 15, 2007, she received her M.B.A. from American InterContinental University. For her work at Foreverfamily, Ms. Doyle was selected among the 34 finalists from over 900 applicants for the Avon Hello Tomorrow Fund, and earlier this month, Ms. Doyle had the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C. with Herzing College of Atlanta to speak to Congress in support of funding for higher education and the Pell Grant program.
